My first thought is, is it possible your alternator died? I'm thinking that it's not charging the battery, and I do believe it is possible for the battery to run for a couple of days with no charging.

There's a lot of things that could cause it besides the battery...alternator or grounding cable are two that come to mind from past experience.

jump it and go to a local parts store, leave car running, and ask them to check your charging system. If it's charging then you may have a short somewhere and I'd start with looking at any aftermarket wiring, lights/radio mods and such, then the Power Steering pump and radiator fan.

You could have tripped the battery cable cut-off.

Hmm-m-m-m. sounds like a power steering pump failure causing the battery to go dead. Do you hear anything still running after you turn the ignition off?
