2007 catalytic converter

Received notice in mail of recall of 2007 catalytic converter to be replaced no charge by the dealer. My 2007 non-s has 51k miles, has never thrown an error code or check engine light. Mostly highway gets about 37 mpg on premium and runs perfect. Live in a non-emissions inspection state and I am apprehensive to change anything that "ain't broke". Any experience with replaced converters under recall or comments? Thanks.

I researched this online and found nothing about it anywhere. Call your dealer and find out what's up.

They wouldn't recall it if something wasn't wrong (or going to go wrong). It's free. Just do it.
