Window dipper fix = breaking the bluetooth?
Window dipper fix = breaking the bluetooth?
Check out this thread...Short version, after new software for the window dipper issue (new version received on May 22 at my dealer), the phonebook display from my Blackberry Storm now displayed as "Last name first", even though the phone is set to show "first name first". Called the SA and asked him to investigate. He said that the documentation for the new software for the window dipper issue did include several other things, but nothing was mentioned in the documentation regarding a change to the BT software. I asked if they sometimes introduce coding changes wihtout documentation and he said they have been known to do that if they aren't trying to "fix" anything.
So, in short, the window dipper fix has messed up my phonebook!
Anone else out there with a Storm that has also had the window dipper reflash to the computer since May 22 that can comment on if it has affected their phonebook display?
Or anyone with a Storm that has NOT had the window reflash that can confirm that their phonebook will display "first name first"?
Or anyone with the window dipper reflash that has found any other issues that have happened to any other system?

When I had my window dipper software fix in January, it totally disabled the car's BT; couldn't use the phone hands-free at all. First they tried to tell me it was my first-gen iPhone (natch), but a tech paired his own phone in testing the problem. A second visit/update fixed it.
