Pictures fired seat belt

Had to change out the passenger side buckle recently for on going air bag light problem. Code reader called it correctly and very easy to change part and total cost 200 Canadian .

Well now the fun part was going to throw the old one out but figured I better fire the charge first. Hooked black and green wire up to 20 feet of speaker wire I had in the house. Layed it out in the middle of yard and let teen age son fire it off.

Well it does make a nice boom and smell of powder was in the air afterwords, caution do not do this while holding the assembly.

Very interesting, apparently you have been studying the AB wiring. I just posted about my AB seat pressure switch under 1st gen electrical problems. If you understand the AB wiring I would appreciate your taking a look.

thanks
