I have a 2006 cooper s with auto climate control. I took it in to the dealer a while back about a ticking noise i heard when i turned the a/c on or just the fan, even the heater. They said that it was common for this "ticking" sound in mini coopers. It is actually more between a thumping and ticking. It only is on when the fan is on, it doesn't matter if the a/c is on or heater. What do you think it is? Can someone help so i can go ***** out the dealer and tell them to stop making excuses for something they don't want to fix under warranty. the faster the fan speed the faster the ticking. Its getting annoying, especially when it can be louder than the radio being on low.
