Oh no, what have I done! Stalling after start
Oh no, what have I done! Stalling after start
Oh boy... Here is the back story:
I purchased a JCW CAI and decided to install it today. I was running into issues with the vacuum hose setup that you have to do when installing the CAI. I wound up disconnecting the Vacuum hose from the vacuum unit, however, I found that I A) did not have enough hose to actually make the connection, and B) that I would have to cut the vacuum hose the be able to use the y-connector. The latter I didn't mind, but the first portion was stopping me from actually connecting everything any way.
I went ahead and just re-connected the vacuum hose to the vacuum unit, and did the procedure for the always open flap, figuring I could set up the working flap once I could find more vacuum hose.
I go ahead and get everything put back together, make sure that all hoses are connected, etc. and go to start my car.
It starts at first, sounds somewhat normal, but all of the sudden it stutters and dies. I tried several more times and each time it did the same thing.
Now I am sitting here wondering what the heck is wrong.... It isn't light enough to remove the JCW CAI and put the standard one back on, but it also doesn't make any sense as to why it would stall with the JCW in the always open position.
Any way, I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas, and if somebody might know where that vacuum tube leads to, in case I need to take off the supercharger and find where the other end goes. (which I DO NOT want to do)
Thanks
