Windshield post coming off

Im not sure that is what it is called. Its the post between the windshield and the drivers door. Does anyone know if there is a DIY on how to replace that?

It's called an a-pillar cover. RealOEM/BMW/MINI calls it a "Column A Cover"

There are clips in there which can break - once they break, you need a replacement. If the clips are OK, it just snaps on.

Replacements are about $40-$50 each.
