90% sure that's a 50

only one of mine that has any wear!

Youre right, it is a T50, had to take mine off back in october.

...and after some research, consensus says 50. Then what did I use the 47 for...?

To round out the inside of the T50 bolt.

Actually I think 47 is 94% of 50

Isn't that the truth?

If you strip one, just drill it out till the head breaks off. The bolt has no purpose but to hold the rotor on while going down the assembly line.

It is a 50 Torx, just took my rotors off yesterday!

A spring clip, like many US cars have, would have been a better solution

Problem with the "spring clip" that you mention, is that most US cars have lug studs in the rotor hubs to attach the lug nuts to.......the Mini uses "lug bolts" per say.....there would be nothing to put the spring clip on to hold the rotor from falling off
