I'm putting the starter heat shield back on the '02 MCS, and it seems to be held in place by only two grommets. This doesn't seem very reliable, and there is an unused hole that could take a bolt. But to what is that bolted?
Help, before I put back the subframe and this becomes much more difficult to fix!

It works more than well enough.

I have never had a problem with one before.

 

D'Oh! I found it, an M6x12 bolt that bolts the heat shield to the oil filter housing, under the exhaust manifold.
