03 Mini Cooper Transmission Issues
[FONT=Arial]57,000 miles and my transmission just went. I've seen others with similar issues on various boards. Mine is a CVT and was having difficulty in shifting to 2nd and 3rd. It ceased to function on automatic and i had to switch to the manual (tiptronic) mode to get it to go. A local garage has told me it needs to be replaced. I'm concerned because it appears to be a recurring issue on the early mini models.
Any feedback on the matter is greatly appreciated. I'm just scared that I have a mini lemon.[/FONT][FONT=Arial] [/FONT]
