Car is a 2002 MC manual with bout 90k on it bone stock with sunroof. 2 months ago my blinker indicators stopped working, next went the bright indicator, ac/ heater, dash lights, and occasionally the sun roof controll wont work and my radio disables itself.

After looking through the forums I bought a new battery, checked all the fuses, and checked both kick panels for water corrosion and shorts as this happened shortly after the first good rain.... any help?

Little more info to help... I have the auto climate control... Some of the threads pointed to the BCM. Where is this located? From reading everything I know I don't want this to be the problem $$$$ but might as well check it out.

Will throwing a scanner on the car do any good? ie will codes show up for these problems?

Also is there a way to reset these modules/ computer?

 

nothing??? I pulled the seats, heatr/ ac display, radio, toggle switches innner fuse box, relays, checked all connections on the bcm (small compputer on the passenger side next to the hood latch), connection on the main computer in the engine bay, all my fuses and relays in the engine bay and connections / wires along the doors.... everything checks out? HELP!

 

What do yo mean the radio disables itself? no power, does it show any special text on the display. Does it act as if it is not connected?...please advise

 

It says "DISABLED" on the display screen (FYI i do not have navigation) If I turn the car on and off a few times it finally turns on.
