Hello,

A while back I replaced the air filter and found that one of the tab on the top part of the airbox was broken. Now, i found BOTH tabs seem to be broken. Doesn't seem like it's a big deal, as it still stays on. However, I'd like to just get a replacement if possible.

I know many people here replaces their stock airbox w/ some sort of CAI. If any one has spare airbox part that I pictured below, I'd like to buy it off you at a resonable price (just that top part needed). Let me know total cost to ship it to zip 08873.

Same thing happened to mine. I just got a couple of latches at the hardware store, pop-riveted them on, and it's better than OEM. Easier to use to. Then I put in a CAI. But I'm hanging on to the original one.

 

Any pics of how it's done? A bit tight on the $ I can spend on the car right now. Would want to avoid CAI kit or replacing the whole new box if possible.
