VERY hot hood near left light-WORRIED. HELP.

Searched, other hot hoods were noted on 07+.

My hood gets VERY hot right above the passenger side headlight. After my recent transmission coolant explosion and fix I am paranoid and constantly checking my car for strange things. What is under that part of the hood and is it anything to be alarmed about??? Other parts of the hood are of a normal warm temp. It gets hot only after driving 5-10 miles. I also am not sure if it has always been this way. Please respond I need some knowledge.

Thanks.

Anyone, anyone?

After having the trans coolant line and container fixed I am worried it will blow again. What is under the hood near the left headlight. I looked at the owner's manual and didn't notice any major parts. I also am not a knowledgable car person.
