I just began the Lemon Process for our MINI.

4 times in on the same problem.

If you have a Lemon call 888 4 lemons

It's happened 4 times within the last 18 months, 4th time in CA is the death card.
4 clutch problems... and in accordance, it does not have to be 4 times on one part.

4 Times in on the SAME Complaint. Mine was CLUTCH Problems. Bam! 4th time really pi55ed me off. This happened to a NEW Clutch, with less than 8000 miles on it! Prior to that, it happened AT 15,000 Miles.

Now, Imagine this... you have had your windshield replaced 4 or more times... you could have and still can LEMON it.

The Windshield problem is a DANGEROUS liability for ANY car company to be concerned about. This is why they have such HARSH inspections on the windshield replacement.

For them to ADMIT there is a STUMBLE, and not recall all vehicles suffering from it seems pretty irresponsible to me. They do not know the long term effects of a stumble. They do not know how dangerous it could possibly be. A problem like that can make an owner/driver uneasy about his own safety while in their MINI, which they have paid or are paying for monthly. They say they hope to have a resolution by the end of the year. That's a long time to "WAIT" for a fix. This is where they should aquire all the vehicles infected with the Stumble and replace them with cash or stumble free MINI's. I may be out of line and ignorant to the "rules" of the game, but the danger factor is unknown, which makes it very HIGH.

Count me in, If I qualify.
Trounced on by big corporations is not fun, yet most people will allow it to happen... so long as they are getting their dose of Media Medicine.
The MINI is a cheap car, a cheap build, and should be a cheap fix.

that's my $.07
