Dashboard top vent - wasting my cold air!

Ok, so I know there are other threads kinda covering what I need, but...

How can I do this or what can I use to block the top vent on my dash?
I live in Miami, FL and these 95+100 summer days are killing me!! I rather have the full force of the AC on my face than to go wasted on my cabrio top.

I know some "Blake" dude from http://www.coopergear.com/Site/DashVentCover.html sells the cover but I also heard he is not so realiable. I have emailed him a couple of times already, wanting to purchase a cover, but he does not reply!! WTF!?!?

So my question is... what can I do about covering this waste of a hole?
Anyone buddies with Blake? Tell him to check his emails!!
Has anyone created another solution to this problem?

Thanks you guys... now don't be like Blake and please gimme some answers or direction

I was thinking the same thing. Ever since I got my mini I've been wanting to cover up that hole. Does anyone know the best way to pop off the vent cover without breaking it? Last time I tried to pry it off I though I was gonna break it.

My idea is to cut a piece of black plastic in the shape of the underside of the vent and stick in on the underside to make a good seal. Now if I can just get someone to tell me the best way to pop it off.

My wife has a tie dyed bean bag frog sitting on top of her vent. It does a pretty good job of diverting the air and it's heavy enough to sit there under normal starts or turns. It does slide sometimes when she makes crazy turns. I have offered to zip tie the legs to the vent.
