P1072, system running rich, 2nd time

yesterday the car threw this code... and this is the 2nd time it did it

the first time happened on the way to detroit tuned to get Jan's tune

the 2nd time.. yesterday, about 1.5 months after the tune

i was on the highway both times in hot and humid weather with the a/c on... this time though i do feel a slight reduction in power, not significant but it is noticeable

anyone else had the problem? i have doubts its related in any way to jan's tune, what could be probable causes? anyone else has had that code thrown at them?.. at least i'd like a good idea so the dealer here wont try to charge me 2 days of labor to look for the problem, or worse, overwrite the software!

oh, and this is on a 03 MCS, 98k km on the odometer and due for oil service in 3 days

mods are:
Alta 15%, Alta 2% crank pulley, new NGK iridium plugs, jackson racing wires, screamin demon coil pack, webb intake, obx header with stock cat, volt exhaust, kent cams, alta v1 intercooler

I get it on road trips....long cruise, off throttle, BAM rich code. Got retuned yesterday in NC and got one on the way home....I stopped for lunch four hours into the trip....just a quick BK stop. About three minutes after getting back underway I got another - it was 98F out.

Having sporadic rich codes might be just a byproduct of doing a ton of mods (it's fairly common from what others have told me). I bought a ScanGaugeII so it's a DIY fix (just remember to keep it in the car).

well, i thought its that too... but it is immediately apparent that something's wrong this time, afterall, my boost gauge is reading 0.45 bar... not the normal 1.15 bar...

brought it to the dealer... i have a very bad feeling this is going to hurt....

the ECU may be cutting boost due to the rich code.
