Sharp jolts when decelerating...why?
Sharp jolts when decelerating...why?
I have a 2006 MCS with automatic transmission and occasionally when I decelerate, as when approaching a stop sign, there will be successive, sharp jolts as the speed decreases. Usually this occurs at perhaps 20-30 mph. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, are you aware of the cause. I have yet to bring it to the attention of the service manager but I'm becoming more and more concerned about the situation. Thanks for anyones thoughts.
when i test drove an automatic and had the sport button engaged it did that when the car down shifted the dealer said it was to keep the rpms up didnt happen when sport button was off tho i just ended up going with stick do you have the sport button engaged when it happens?
