can anybody take a quick look at their rear wiper for me. in the middle where it attaches to the car there is a large opening where you can see the washer and screw where is connects to the car. mine is rusted solid! anybody elses? should i be concerned?

 

That cover just hinges up to expose the washer nozzle and give you a better view. There is no "screw " there, it is the nozzle which is held in by a nut, which is galvanized in my car, What you are probably seeing is the dried grunge from the washer fluid. BTY mine is clean as a whistle.

 

yes, i ment nut. regardless, mine is definately rusted.
