HELP! trunk won't open

my trunk will not open and I don't think theres anything jammed in there. I hear there is a manual trunk release where is it and how does it work?

Have you unlocked the doors using the central locking switch? Have you used the key fob to unlock it remotely? The manual release is under the back seat, read the owner's manual for more info...

I have used all the lock systems My 02 didn't come with a manual release. I checked

Trunk? MINIs don't have trunks. They have boots. Perhaps that's the problem. (tongue firmly planted in cheek)
