I'm a new owner of an '04 MCS. Learning what makes it tick has been fun and challenging. Here's one that I can't figure out. I replaced the stock stereo head unit with one from Sony. Battery was disconnected to do it. When reconnected, everything fine, but later I noticed that I have no headlight hi beam indicator. I was thinking must be failed bulb or led, but later when trying to reset the service indicator, I tripped the instrument self-test. Guess what came on...the hi beam indicator. Bulb is not the problem. I tried disconnecting the battery again for several hours thinking something might reset, but no dice. Any ideas?
