I put a new Duralast battery in my wifes 04MC over the weekend but she says an odd quirk has popped up. She says that on a couple of occasions she has started the car,its spun over as usual and then "hicupped" and died. She turns off the ignition,turns the key to start again and it fires right up. Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

Just noticed the sticky at the start of the forum...But her car was just fine until the battery swap.

 

Did you happen to purchase fuel from a different station around the same time?

She usually uses the local Costco with good results but i think shes got tank full of Chevron right now. I show her the sticky and keep an eye on the car in the meantime.
