Exhaust Manifold Header Fitment Issues?
Exhaust Manifold Header Fitment Issues?
I am replacing my exhaust manifold which has failed at 100,000 miles. Catalytic converter, or a weld on the cat failed. I have an 03 MCS with a few mods, and see when I search realoem.com I receive different part numbers for various build dates, so I am curious if there are any fitment issues between them? I have a used manifold with cat that only has 8,000 miles on it, but it is from an 05 or 06 R52. Can anyone tell me if there will be any fitment issues? Has anyone done this type of install before, with headers from another model year?
I am prepared to tackle the job, but need to make sure before I dive in, any assistance is greatly appreciated. thank you for your time.

Is the R52 that you got the manifold from a Cooper S? If so, and both cars have the same type of trans(manual or automatic) then it should fit.
I'm showing different part numbers for the manual vs. automatic and Cooper vs. Cooper S.
