Exhaust Brackets Rusted and Broke

My exhaust is hanging. Any ideas on the least expensive fix. The brackets are so rusted, they can't be welded, and will need to be replaced.

Where can I get these?

Are there any alternatives?

It's a 2003, and not an S.

Any suggestions on an aftermarket that's not too pricey?

Right now the exhaust is kind of hanging, but it seems pretty secure. I'm concerned about driving it right now. Should I try to find other means of transportation until I get it fixed?

EEK! New exhaust is $300+ online. Can you just buy the brackets anywhere?

My husband is concerned it will do damage to the expensive stuff.

I took it to a muffler shop, and the guy said that he couldn't weld it. That I would have to get replacement brackets. I don't know anything about it. Should I try somewhere else?

try to find a take-off from another mc owner who has installed an aftermarket zorst. ebay, local mini group, etc. otherwise, minspeed.net has a very nice replacement. you can always try the dealer for just the bracket.

find out which bracket is bad.
go to the dealer and see how much it is.
buy it.
install it. or find someone to do it

I guess it is the clamp lower and the clamp upper. It is broke on both sides.

Will try the dealer. I hope I don't get totally reamed on this part.

I did find it on Pelican Parts. The lower is just 10 but the upper is 41. Still not too bad, though.

I broke one of my mounts when I installed my catback system and bought a replacement from minimania. Try them if you don't have any luck at the dealer.

Not sure which ones you need...

Here is the link to the muffler hanger brackets:
http://new.minimania.com/LargePic.cf...%20S%2002%2D06

And here are the rubber mounts:
http://new.minimania.com/web/Item/NME7655/InvDetail.cfm

There are two different ones in the back. Make sure you pick the right one. The pictures should do the trick.
