Various Noises

Anybody have similar symptoms?

Noise 1. I've noticed some loose metal "slap" after engaging the clutch in all gears; best way I can describe it is as if the transmission parts are loosely floating around similar to a dieseling sound you'd get when lugging a car in too tall a gear. When accelerating (car fully engaged in gear), this noise mostly goes away, but seems to appear again when slowing down (without depressing the clutch). Feels mostly like sloppy build to me, but maybe it's pretty "normal" for MINIs???
Noise 2. After gas tank is filled and capped, I get this "thump ... thump... glump..."???
Noise 3. It's not bad yet, but I suspect I'm beginning to hear the beginnings of the infamous OOORRT plagueing the first generation MINIs- time will tell - I had only hoped the 08s would have done better with that.
Noise 4. Buzzing/rattling/vibrating on passenger side - can't tell yet if it's something simple like a speaker grill or ...???

thanks, greg

Sorry, vibration on passenger side is the seat, it can't be eliminate because is the mechanism that pulls the seat to the front when a person enters to the back seat. Why don't try to move the seat to the next position? back or front?. Sorry but I don't have the other problems. I have a MCS 08 automatic. My problem with this model was a noise under the driver's side and was eliminated when dealer changed the transmission support. The other one was the typical issue when the sunroof (when is warm), thay changed the mechanism for an improved one (second generation) and ready!
