I went to put a deposit on this Cooper S today http://www.thomasautony.com/Default....wned-inventory and have a question about it. When I went to unlock the doors with the button on the key it worked fine then when I went to lock it with the same button it wouldn't lock. It's the same button right? What gives?

 

My keyless entry has two buttons:

wings to unlock

lock shape to lock

 

Actually it's the other way around... you press the "unlock" button to unlock, you press the "MINI" in the wings to lock... at least, that's how mine works...

 

Haha thanks, I felt silly asking. Now, how do you pop the hood? I looked around for about a minute but couldn't find the handle to pop it.

 

Lever in the passenger side footwell, near the door.

No worries... I had the same problem with the key first time I held one...
