I have a new 08 MCS. After driving my new baby, I am hearing popping sounds coming from the tail pipe. (after i turn off my car) I had an 06 MC before this and didn't have any problems. Is this inherit to the MCS? Any ideas or recommendation would be appreciated.

ya i have on 07 mcs and i hear it pop every once in awhile

 

our minis do this. i asked the dealer about it and they told me its totally normal. i hadnt had a turbo car before so i had totally freaked out and they had to explain to me that the cats do this on our cars. my car does it a little louder now because i got an exhaust but ....its not something that will hurt your car.

 

I hear ticking and fizzing from the front. Of course they say it's normal. I haven't heard the rear making noise yet. Maybe because the sound of my rear end drowns out all other noises?

 

MINI FARTS --- put some Beano in the tank.
