just making sure, you did use something to make the hole before screwing the holders in place right?

weird. i bought the OEM rubber mats from minimania (had a coupon code) and the discs that you screw into the carpet have little hooks on them. and the rubber mats have little holes in them (near the seats) that the hooks go through. they don't move at all. they're actually a pain to remove for cleaning. then again i have a 2003 R50 but, why would they change them?

These mats were originally available only through Canadian dealers I'm not sure if they are now available through MiniUSA dealers.
They are very durable and do stay in place.
Give your dealer a call.

Right. Got mine in Victoria, BC. from the parts dept. Can't remember the cost, but was surprised at the time how inexpensive they were. They're not showing any wear after nine months and they hold themselves in place. Cleaning all those little circles reminds me of cleaning my wheels...

Found them here: http://www.coopersport.com/usa/MINI-...s-p-16236.html

If I am reading this right...for front mats only for R56, they are $110??? Plus $25 shipping to the US...

Am I missing something?

Cocomats rock (see my gallery). They don't move (we don't need no steenking velcro either!). Why go with black rubber when you can have them?

Did you get mats for the clubman from the above site as I did not see the clubman as a choice for mats.

a bit off topic but what is the fascination with car floor mats. I've read posts where people get raped on buying a car but they'll end with something like, "...but I got free floor mats!". The floor mats are but a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the car price, yet it is revered like the golden prize.

I just don't get the allure of the floor mat.

That sounds like way too much. I didn't keep the receipt from last July, but remember being surprised at how little they were, something like $45 for the set of four. I walked in off the street to the BMW/MINI parts department and bought them there

Yeah me too, I didn't ever take those out for auto cross. There were nice mats that covered the whole carpet too.

No thomastrain Molly is an '08 JustaCooper!! You might want to give them a call, they may have mats for the Clubman too. It took a call from me before they actually listed the 2008 Cooper Mats.

Good Luck!!

I have the same mats & they do slide some. I bought some sel adhesive velcro pads from Wal-Mart and glued two hooked pieces back-to-back and put them in the circular areas of the mat. The hold well enough to the short nap in the circle on the mat and hold great on the carpet.

They still creep slightly, but I only nee to reposition them every couple of months.

I didn't make a hole before I screwed in the disc. I thought it was magical how it just screwed into the floor. It's been holding solid for my carpet mats.

Would the Clubman mats be any different. The fronts are the same but is the backseat different. I have the rubber mats above and they slide around like crazy. Granted the dealer never gave me the velcro puck that goes into the floor thou. I just added that today. We'll see if they stay put.

I have Weather Techs in my wifes truck and had them in my old Tacoma I traded in, I WILL for sure get a set for the Mini as soon as I confirm any mat difference for a Clubman.

I ordered Molly's Floor Mats on Monday 31/03. I called WeatherTech today and checked on my order, Molly's mats were shipped yesterday. I checked my FedEx Tracking # and they will be delivered on Friday!! Molly won't even step onto US soil until Monday, 07/04.
Great Customer Service as well I would highly recomend WeatherTech!!

Nice looking! Do they shed at all? I just had cocomats send me some color samples and the threads in them are shedding like crazy. I am guessing it's because the samples are just squares cut ouf of the material, without any edging. They shed near the center of the samples, not just on the edges. How are yours?
