stock problems/yo yo

Has anyone come up with a fix for the yo yo problem?I do not want to disable the bypass valve or modify the vacuum source for the valve either.

you can swap out the by-pass valve with a detroit tuned one. Usually takes care of it.

The yo-yo can be eliminated with precise and smooth throttle handling. In fact, the yo-yo effect will help train you to get on and off the throttle more smoothly. After driving the car for 3 years, it only happens when I get sloppy.

I have noticed that if you drive the car the way you say it is better. but I don,t think you should have to drive the car this way.

I fixed it this way. An easier method is to drill brass/aluminum rod stock, whose O.D. is slightly larger than the vacuum line I.D.. Shove it up inside the existing short vacuum line attached to the BPV diaphragm.

a simple RMW tune will get rid of it

its a function of timing and fueling causing the problem
