Supercharger care?
Just put a deposit down on a MCS, can't wait for it to get here!
But in preparation, where can I read up on superchargers and their maintenance? I'm moving up from a Honda CR-V so this is a whole new world for me.
Thanks!

Welcome to MCO!
What kind of maintenance did you have in mind? Basically, the supercharger is a pretty maintenance-free device. Shouldn't require any more attention than you would pay to the engine in general (e.g., oil changes, don't over-rev, etc.).

I doubt there are even any serviceable parts in the supercharger. The manufacturers normally just sell complete replacements as tools to dismantle and rebuild kits are not even available to the dealers for many components of today’s modern cars.

Just add flubber as necessary.
Welcome to MCO! You are going to love the MCS and the supercharger will just do its thing on its own with no user maintenance at all.

With turbo engines, I recall reading you're supposed to let the engine idle if you're coming off a hard drive (not just going to the package store) to let the turbo itself cool down. And, you're supposed to change the oil more frequently than w/ a non-turbo engine. Do either of these apply?
This is not a turbo engine, so no
Turbos get very hot in operation, due partly to the fact that they are driven by hot exhaust gases.
Superchargers are belt-driven so you really don't have that type of heat builup like you do in a turbo. No need to let the engine idle when you reach your destination and oil change intervals are spelled out in the owner's manual.
