OBC Display with Chrono Pack
I just took delivery of an 08 MCSC with the Chrono Pack.
When I cycle through the display options of the OBC, the Current Speed is skipped. Is this because the analog speedometer is mounted next to the tach? (dealer explanation) Why program the OBC differently with the Chrono Pack option?

Correct - there's no "current speed" display in the OBC if you have the Chrono pack, since the speedometer right there next to the OBC. I believe this is also the case if you have the factory Nav package.
