I am just curious as to how much it will cost when I get my clutch replaced. I have an 03 and its not wearing out yet but its inevitable. How much have you paid to get it replaced? I bought a warranty but its not covered. It's considered a 'wear' item

 

My dealer quoted around $1800 for a new clutch.

I have an '05 and recently began hearing a noise when I pressed the clutch to the floor. It happened in all gears.

I was at 49,000 miles and took it into the dealer. They found the transmission release bearing had broken off (defective) and damaged the clutch plate. They also noted the transmission input seal was leaking.

I got new clutch kit with release bearing and new input shaft seal.

Best news...it was all covered under warranty!

Now she shifts smooth as silk!! Love it.
