I think I have to share this with all mini owners. I saw this car for sale in autotrader, 2003 mini s. I went to see the car and it was late afternoon when i got there. I drove the car in the woods for about a mile. next day I made a offer and ask the owner to bring me the car to new york and i will take him back. he agreed. afterI regitered the car, i went for inspection and the car failed because it had a broken front lower control arm bushing, a frozen rear caliper, a hole in the right muffler. I called the owner and he said that he was sorry but he did not know about this problems and nothing he could do. so, i had to fix the problem. went to a local shop to replace the bushing and made things worse. they charged me $300.00 to replace them but, the next day i try to use the car i could not. the car was worse, it was wondering so much that i was scare. plus the lights, for traction control and low air pressure were on at all the time. I could not resect them. thats when i call p r e s t i g e m i n i wonderfull dealer they not only fix my problem they did it in good will, the service manager christ, very helpfull and polite, had a loaner 2007 mini wating for me. he also found that the steering sensor, the ball joint, and the strut tower bushing were also damage. christ was able to put must of the parts to be covered by the warranty. he also had the car 4 wheel alined. christ and prestige mini's good will, save me a lot of money. and thanks to them, fanally i am able to drive my mini after i purchased it one month ago. please go to prestige mini in route 17 and meet christ the service department manager. thanks again prestige mini for your good will.
