Hey NAM,

So this weekend, I spent time detailing out the MINI like I do every other weekend, and while I was detailing, as usual I clean the inside vanity mirror, but this time, when I opened the passenger side vanity mirror the lid popped off, the little hinge holding it there broke! First off, would this be under warranty? The part that surprises me is that, I rarely have passengers in this car, maybe like ONCE a month, as this isn't really a daily driver, just more a hobby car...I don't even recall actually opening them up other than to clean the mirror inside, but how does something break this easily! Did this ever happen to anyone else?

when i bought mine, my passenger mirror cover was in my glove box..i wonder if the hinge is weak....since i rarely have anyone in the car with me..i just pushed it back on so it stays on...but you just cant open it without it falling off...
