Need help finding stupid rubber part!!!
Need help finding stupid rubber part!!!
I just replaced my 3rd clutch master cylinder. Everything was great until I tried to connect the brake fluid feed tube and I realized something was missing. I can't find the rubber insert that attaches it to the cylinder. It is a half inch long rubber seal that connects the feed tube to the master cylinder. It is the same rubber seal that connects the feed tube to the brake fluid reservoir. I talked to the dealership and they say I have to pay $45 for a new reservoir. I refuse to pay more than a few dollars for this! Does anyone know where to find this part? Or maybe someone has an extra lying around? This is ridiculous! I can't bleed the clutch because of a $.50 part!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it any of these parts or part of an assembly?

I have an r50, so I think this is the proper diagram. It is still number 8. Thanks for the link to the site!

that o ring is not sold separate, you will need to get the clutch line. and the dealer that told you is on the reservoir/slave cylinder is wrong, the new slave cyl. don't bring the o ring, it comes on the line itself. sorry!
Thank you. It was a lot easier to get a straight answer from the dealership with a part number! I decided to order it from pelican parts. The part was $4.75 with $5 shipping. Much better than $40 for the wrong part.
