Does anyone have this problem? I open the hood and there is brake fluid around the base of the cap and on the top of the reservoir. I'll wipe it off, make sure it's on tight and it will have leaked the next time I check. Any one have this prob?

I also can't get the cruise to work. I'll be driving >60 push the button and the green light flashes on the tach, then I push the + button and nothing happens. The green light goes off and that's it. It can't be more involved than that. I read the manual. Any suggestions?

Is there a time when the clock won't be on when the car is on? It didn't come on for about 5 min after I started my car today. Then the next time I started it, it came right on.

Don't know about the brake fluid issue, but the cruise control problem is a common one. You need to bring it to the dealer and have them install a diode on the brake sensor line. The CC picks up errant voltage on that line and thinks the brake is being applied. People have reported that it's a 45 minute fix.

Nick,

No problem with the brake fluid, but I do have a problem with my cruise. As a matter of fact, my Electric Blue MCS is at the dealership for the third time to have the cruise control problem fixed. At first visit, they couldn't fix it, they need to order the diode. Took the car in for second visit to have the diode installed. The diode didn't fix the cruise. They kepted my car for three days trying to fix this cruise control. They called the technical folks at MINIUSA for advice for fix. The diode should have resolved the problem but didn't. The service consultant said, practically everyone working at the service deparment was trying to figure out why the diode did fix this problem. On the third day, the consultant called to advised me that the cruise had not been fixed and that the entire computer system in my car would need to be replaced. This was last week, they order the computer system for install this week, so that is what they are doing today, installing the entire computer system in my car.

I also had the stumbling/hesitation problem in first gear. They seem to think that the new computer system will also take care of this problem. I hope it does, it has been annoying to say the least.

While typing this message the service consutant called to let me know that the technician will need some more time with my car. So in essence, I won't get my car tonight and will have to keep this rental they provided for another day (Mecury Sable - yuck!). They have provided a rental for all of the visits so I am happy about that but the rentals have much to be desired, 1st visit rental - Ford Focus, 2nd visit rental - Dodge Grand Caravan.

Anyway, hope you have better luck with your cruise control fix.

If anyone is interested, I have an update on my situtation. My service consultant called me just before noon today to let me know that the new computer system did not fix the problem. They are ordering another one to install tomorrow (Thursday). So this is what I think will happen:

1. The new computer system will arrive tomorrow
2. The technician will install new system and check
3. He will need some more time with the car again
4. The consultant will call me tomorrow, and tell me he needs more time and that I will need to keep this "GOD AWFUL" rental for another day.
5. On Friday, the consultant will call and let me know the second computer system did not fix the problem and discuss the next steps to take.

What would you do in this situation????
