New Water Pump

So over the past few weeks i noticed that my heater has not been getting as hot as quick as it used it. Also i would get a coolant level warning spastically. Turns out my water pump was leaking. It was replaced under warranty and all is well again. Anyone else have this issue?

sporadically is the word

I just noticed my drive way has a significant amount of collant on it again!!!! Just check my coolant reservoir and it is nearly empty. WTF no warning from the computer?

Yikes, hopefully it is just bad luck with two bad water pumps... this has happened on my old car before, two botched water pumps in two weeks.

Well after 24 hours parked the coolant levels do not seem any lower.

My Water Pump is Leaking Too

I'm sitting at the dealership waiting for a loaner car because my water pump is leaking. Good or bad they had to order one. I'm going with good assuming it's not a common problem. (In other words, it's not worth stocking the part).

I think as hthe R56 becomes more common their parts will be more readily on hand. It makes sense for them to stock the earlier parts for the older cars.

My water pump was replaced after I brought my MCS with 1500 miles in for a whining sound at idle.

I haven't had that trouble with mine but there have been other threads with the same issue.
