So I've been on this site regarding my new grinding clutch..well I got a new transmission and it has been great! Tonight however, I am driving and I hear a thunk, and run over something. Immediately, my clutch failed. There was nothing on the road...my theory is that something fell from my car and I ran over it! My tow guy said it could be the linkage. Either way, I am pissed...this happened to happen on an off ramp so we were able to coast to a safe place..had this happened on the freeway (this is the 405 were talking about) I would have been screwed! I am really done with this car. This will be my fourth repair for the transmission. Just printed out my lemon law book! Any ideas? I'm thinking I want my money back!

It's a hydrolic clutch... Sounds like something wasn't bolted on right...

Funny, that is what my tow driver said! He said that he suspected the linkage fell.
