Where's the Air Filter on the 02 MC?
I got the Service II sticker shock today ($750) and my advisor gave me a couple of options of DIY to help cut the costs. So I happily went to the service window and bought myself the air filter, took it home and realized I can't find the daggone thing. Can someone give me a rundown on how to replace on an 02 MC CVT?
Also figured out why my Service I (glorified oil change) costs so much--they include things like $10 to fill the "glass cleaner." That's just silly. I'm so not taking my MC back to the dealer for another oil change.

The stock Cooper air filter is on the right front of the car as you are looking from the front. Check out the second photo here
