Better yet, I think you should delete the entire thread as 90% of it is the same 3 posters doing nothing but personally attacking me and offering nothing to the content of how the software will get fixed.

Further, we should NEVER allow a complaint about a MINI product or how to fix it, heaven forbid!!

Maybe if YOU GUYS lightened up on your posts, and let it go, other people would benifit from the fact we are doing nothing but telling the truth about how bad the software is. I'm certain that if I had read this thread prior to ordering my car, things would be different. Especially the lack of customer support MINI offers which is what most concerns me. We are doing a service for other prospective buyers.

 

Now I know the moderators have complained I have accused you of working for mini. But I must say, the only thing I have done on this thread is complain about the software that isn't working properly. And yet, you do NOTHING but attack me peronally. So I really wonder, if you work for MINI, because I have no other explanation of why you are personally so upset over this complaint???

Most people have not had any chance to do anything but try and correct your claims. If you stopped make baseless claims, then everyone would benefit.

No one would argue the NAV could use an update. But no one seems to be able to have that discussion as you keep interrupting with the same incorrect rhetoric you have been posting all along.

Birdman, your entire approach to this sounds more like a troll than someone who really wants to discuss this issue. One minute you are ranting about the problems, the next you are rolling over, than back to ranting again and all the while making accusations aboutothers working for Mini. How can anyone have a meaningful discussion when you act like that?

To point out the outrageous nature of your claims. We all know the old adage about the squeaky wheel getting the grease but there are times when it gets ridiculous.

I really do not think a rational discussion with you is possible. That is an opinion, not a personal attack. I would like to think I am wrong, but I have not seen anything that would make me change my mind.

 

I've conferred with Mark F and Edge and we've decided it would be in the best interest of everyone to lock this thread.

It is producing non-helpful feedback and several of the posters have decided to flame posters have have offered constructive input.
