I was wondering how much horsepower and torque can the stock mini cooper s clutch handle? Just wondering.

 

It can take at least 110whp more then a stock MCS. We have the stock clutch on Erics car and its still going strong. Its been twincharged and seen many track days in that state. It took the abuse and kept going.

 

I believe, because of its material, that the stock clutch disk can "heal" itself. Is that true? I mean, I've already replaced mine, so if it gets cooked it's finished. But still have the old disk in the box, it had loads of life left.
