File this under bizarre, and hopefully just a freak thing:

Over the weekend, I start up the car after not driving it for almost 24 hrs, and the engine temperature light came on, along with a few dings (the way all the other start-up warnings come on, like low washer fluid). It went away immediately and hasn't happened since.

I didn't know at first what the symbol even meant, but I looked it up and it was definitely that! Anyone experience this?

Probably because your car had just come in from tearing around the local twisties.

 

same problem i went to tijuana mini service , and they replace the cooling water bubble, where you put antifrezze to the car. that bubble was broken they said so they replace and problem fix.
