Hi everyone! I need your opinion today about warranty.

Hi have a Mini Cooper S 2004, bought in November 2003, so there warranty will be out next month (November 2007).

The dealer suggested me an extended warranty. I have to pay an inspection (210$ plus taxes). After this inspection they will pass on the actual Mini warranty all the problems the found out. Then, I have to pay 2347$ (plus taxes) to have a 3 years/60000km warranty. There is a deductible of 50$ for every “claim”.

What is your opinion on this extended warranty?

I don’t believe/trust this kind of warranty, but the bmw parts are expensive. But I don’t think that the parts covered on this warranty are the parts that actually broke on the Mini.
