My first problem...

The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light keeps coming on even though I have checked the tire pressure with my digital gauge and reset it.

I have the 'new' TPMS in my car, as there are sensors in the wheels that talk to the computer, apparently.

I'm taking it to the dealer on Friday to see if they can reset it properly. I'll let everyone know what happens.

 

sounds like a bad sensor if a TPMS system reset/recalibration didn't fix it. I believe each sensor communicates by RF. best of luck, should be an easy fix.

So far, I've had no issues. TPMS reset seems to have worked perfect and the new smaller diameter tire/wheel combo I put on didn't trip the alarm.

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'll just tell them to replace all four wheels and tires

 

and come home with mount marked (scratched) wheels? no~~~!!

 

For the dealer's sake, they better hope not.
