Blinker tempo

I know this is silly but my blinker "blips" at an inconsitant rate. It speeds up and slows down. It's kind of funny but annoying to listen to. Anyone else have this?

Blinker tempo is supposed to increase if a bulb has blown - does the tempo pick up only when you are signaling on one particular side? Have some check from the outside for you. If that's not it, I don't know what else it could be.

All of my bulbs are working. I know what it sounds like when a bulb is out. It's not that, it's constantly varying it's speed within a single use. I'm not really too concerned, just curious.

Are you speeding up or slowing down while turning? SSTS ( Speed Sensitive Turning Signals) There are so many electrical gremlins in these cars.(maybe all cars these days) Be on the look out for any problems that might tie in to warrant a dealer visit. Is the circuit controled by ECU?....may be a glitch fixed by a reflash.

Now that I think about it, it seems to be worse when I'm slowing down. I have the 6 speed so I'll experiment with not using engine braking vs. using engine braking. I'm planning on taking it to the dealer for some warranty work soon. I'm just trying to research on my own some so that I'm educated when I take it in. I have the whole 3-2 squeel and what sounds like a bad throw-out bearing, trim that's coming off and some other trim that's out of alignment, the ac isn't cold and my blinker needs a new pacemaker. I've been reading other threads about most of my problems so I know that I'm not the only one seeing them. I still love my MCS though.

Mine does it too, just a slight variation in the blinker rate.
Just figured it was "another MINI idiosyncrasy "
