Hard to open door prob

Heya. Took the car to the dealer last week and they were totally unhelpful with this one. Said they "greased the doors" and it was all gravy.

Also searched and couldn't find the same problem. (ed: here's one, but doesn't help)

After sitting for awhile, my passenger door becomes really hard to open. Opening from the outside becomes a strongman competition. Opening from the inside is also difficult, but easier considering the way the latch works.

It's not an issue with the locks. And after opening it once, it's much easier, to the point where (after a few open + shuts) it's just a tiny bit more effort than the (flawless) driver's side.

And then, over night or a few hours later, it's really difficult again.

I was wondering if perhaps it was the door or striker plate out of adjustment, since it does seem a tiny bit off, but the door is perfectly placed once closed.

I'd like to figure out the issue before taking to the monkeys at the dealer. Thanks a lot in advanced!

Sounds more like corrosion in the hinges and/or the arm that holds the door open.
