Squeal from driver's side window at speed.

Yes, I've searched.

I have an issue with my 02 MC. The window regulator died on the driver's side, I had it fixed, but now when the window is up and I'm travelling at highway speeds, there is the loudest, most obnoxious squeal I've ever heard coming from the window. It seems as though it's not properly sealing at the top; if I insert two fingers from my left hand between the glass and the A-pillar seal, it goes away, but the second I remove my fingers, it comes back.

Rolling down the window fixes the problem, but I don't always want the window down when I'm on the freeway.

I'd really prefer to fix this myself, if possible. Any idea what the problem might be?

TIA!

-Mike

Yes your door / window seal is old. BTY, You are in the 07 R56 forum, but if I had that problem with that age of Mini , I would replace the entire seal around the door, as it shrinks with age. It happens to us all, sooner or later.

My apologies, I didn't even realise I slipped into the 2nd Gen forums. Thanks for your patience with the noobie.
