Yellowing Trunk Hatch?

Anyone had problems w/their Pepper White Trunk hatch/above rear license plate going yellow/yellowish? It is plastic vs. metal so not sure if that is related or not? Rest of car is perfect.

You might want to look at this thread about paint discoloration and this thread about outright melting of the lift. Hope your's is not as serious.

Cheers!!

Since the rear hatch gets way more dirt collecting on it, you have to clean it more thoroughly. I just got my 2004 PW/B MCS a month ago. I did the hatch with a clay bar ( http://www.autogeek.net/motcalgolcla.html ) to get all the residue off. It was worse around the boot handle and plate area where the previous owner hadn't been able to reach it, apparently...
