There are two things about my car that have irked me since I got it and I was hoping someone could help me out.

1. The car wines like crazy when I turn the steering wheel. The fluid as at the right level and it is clean, though.

2. When driving slow (<15 MPH), the car periodically makes a loud sound like a stun-gun --best analogy I could come up with.

3. Sometimes, the driver's side window will not go down. I hear a small clicking sound (like it wants to go) but nothing happens. It usually clears up after the car has sat around for a few hours.


Any help at all would be frickin' awesome.

 

1. They all do that. Really. It's an electric PS pump.
2. I'm sorry that you know what a stun gun sounds like. No clue as to what it is.
3. You should still be under warranty - bring it to the dealer.

 

Just had the driver's side window motor replaced on my '04 with 45 K on the car. It quit working out of the blue then started working a few days later. Dealer said the computer check showed there had been a problem and the window didn't seem to operate correctly so they changed out the motor. Also found that the two brackets that hold up the mufflers had rusted away. I was told that was rather common as well. 1 and 2 I have no answer. Good luck.
