Window trim peeling off

Window trim peeling off
So my car ('06 MCSc) has been outside for the last couple of days and I step outside and discover the rear window trim (the silver-looking lining) is peeling off on the driver side. I push it back in place and it stays for a lil bit before coming off again.
Anybody know of any fixes I can do to repair this myself or should I take it to the dealership?

Interior/Exterior Filler neck/gas cap insert piece, paint peeling for the 8th time now?!
