Fluid inside car??

I just noticed that I had something dripping from the driver side area - right above the clutch pedal. There was a small pool of some type of oily substance on the floor mat - looks like it had dripped down from near the firewall.

I did notice when I drove it last week that the clutch pedal was sticking at initial engagement - like it was hung up on something. I took a quick look this morning and could not tell. Drove it and everything was fine.

Any ideas?

Sounds like fluid leaking from the clutch cylinder. Is the fluid level down any? If still under warranty, I'd take it in to have this fixed quickly. I believe the clutch cylinder uses brake fluid which is nasty stuff as far as staining and removing paint. Good luck with it.

Definitely sounds like the clutch slave cylinder. Get it to the dealer before you loose the clutch.
